Who is Sweet Home Industries? Sweet Home Industries, LLC is a small, family-owned startup headquartered in Batavia, IL. We now do business under the trade name DurAnimals® which is a registered tradmark. We are cat lovers who got tired of cleaning our litter pans with an inferior product. We wanted a real tool and so we designed one ourselves. Now we offer several models to suit different needs and price ranges. We believe in the ethical treatment of animals and that includes providing clean litter pans for our six cats! Our company is registered in the State of Illinois, our Original DuraScoop product design is patented in the United States (#D480,519) and our trademark DuraScoop® is also registered in the United States. Maybe you use a liner and dump all of your litter when it gets dirty (producing non-biodegradable, plastic waste), or maybe you have a robot litter box that cleans itself (and then breaks and ends up in a landfill) or maybe your pets are trained to go on the toilet (let's hope they know how to flush!).
